This event is a joint event with the Davenport Civil Rights Commission and Transitions Mental Health.

The event is approved for one hour of CLE and will cover:

1.How biases and stereotypes can impact court proceedings.
2.How biases and stereotypes involving race and gender can correlate with societal misperceptions and undermine credibility in the courtroom.
3.How to identify and eliminate biases that may be built into systems which
negatively influence decision-making.
4.How becoming more cognizant of biases can transform attorney-client relations and improve efficacy and competency in our court systems.
